Travel insurance (strike action covered)

Evening all Newbie,

Completley confuzzled with bookign travel insurance, normally i just select the cheapest to be covered.

However im due to fly to benidorm on aug 13th till aug 20th, however due to the impending strike action planned on all of spains air traffic control from Aug 18th for 3 days. my flight will 99% cancelled.

Policies are not straight forward

can anyone shed any light ??

You need a policy that covers Industrial Action. You will need to read the policy document of any you are interested in to see if this is covered. You also need to have the policy in place before the strike dates are announced.

You are a bit late getting insurance as it should be take out as soon as any travel is booked, otherwise you are not covered if you had to cancel due to illness or accident.
