Rejecting a new car

Hi. I am looking for advise on next steps in rejecting a new car. Long story I'll stick to the facts.
Bought a brand new Skoda Octavia Vrs in June from Oxford dealer. Two weeks old and ECU light came on. As I live in Devon I took to local dealer. They reset but after 24 hours it came back on. This happened 3 times over the next 10 days. They then asked for car to be left with them. I did this 15 days ago (Car then only 6 weeks old). They tried to fix it for 1 week but could not. I decided to send it to dealer I bought it from and last Thursday they swapped it for managers car until mine is fixed. It has been 5 days they have tried to fix but as of yet cannot. The car is now less than 8 weeks old, been in the garage for the past 15 days and I feel they are getting nowhere. I do not want to reject the car but feel I am more than patient. At what point can I say " have the car back" and when I do is it down to the dealer as to whether it warrants a rejection. I really want this fixed or a brand new replacement not my money back. How strong is my case?
I have also registered this with Skoda UK who just phone me every few days. They seem to have no teeth and nobody has a sense of urgency about this.
Thanks
