HELP....PPI Reclaim??

Hi,
I have a loan for 52,500 pounds with HSBC. I have only just noticed that i have been sold Payment Protection Insurance.
What do you guys recommend i do?

Was the loan actually sold and set up by HSBC?

If you so pursue these, or to whoever set this up for you from the start.

Follow the link below to the guidlines of reclaiming, then further on down the page you will come across a FOS questionnaire, this is shown as stage one of reclaiming.

Complete and send to whoever responsible, and remember to save a copy as well, this is recommended by the financial ombudsman service, in case you need to refer to this at some point.
These questionnaires have been put on this site on behalf of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) and replaced the first template letter.

The business have 8 weeks to respond, but may request for more time to investigate, which is fine.

Try to get some proof of posting as well at your post office, good luck.

Hi Darren,

I did my first one on my own, but it took ages and i didnt get back as much as i originally thought i would, my second one i went through a company, which was much much faster and i got alot more money back and all i had to do was sit back and wait. PM me if ya want.

Claims companies CAN NOT get you more than you can get your self as laid down by fos rules, if you were paid short by your original claim you should have taken this up with the loan company at the time.We on this site do not condone claims companys and we help people do it their selves for FREE. please dont advertise this company by asking people to pm you . I have personally (through this site for the price of a couple of stamps) claimed back over £30000 and have not been ripped off by a so called company that "gets you more back than you can your self "

Darren, please do not use a company, you will get all you are entitled to for the price of a stamp and help from this site. Get a piece of paper and write " you beleive this ppi was mis sold because " put your reasons and that you would like all ppi refunded with interest and the loan reset without ppi. Do it today, goos luck with this and we will show you how easy it is !!!!! FOR FREE

I have never known anyone to have got more money with going with claims companies, how can that be if they charge you by taking some of your own money at the end of it?

Hi di, i am getting fed up of hearing these co can get you more,:mad: as you say at the end of the day they get you less as they take a chunk off :eek:

Yeah me too, they will try anything!!!:mad: so annoying.
