2 Week November Holiday in Canada

  • You can catch the train to/from Boston, I would recommend that because remember it will be fall and the leaves will be amazing colours. Many people go to New England just to see this. There are multiple trains every day www.amtrak.com and in my view it's actually quicker than flying because you arrive at Penn Station in NY, right in the centre of New York (central in Boston too), so no faffing about with airport transit. The train tickets are usually cheaper and more flexible too.

    Hi I am a Canadian, don't know if this will help you firstly... there isn't ALWAYS snow in November and actually its quite hot at the moment so who knows... Secondly Niagara falls is AMAZING in the winter.. .I can show you some photos....

    stay at Marriott or somewhere similar for 150.00 dollars its a 2 night package includes dinner breakfast casino vouchers and tranfers. There is PLENTY to do in Niagara, personally Niagara on the lake where all the wineries are is better because its quaint and you can take tours.

    There is a lightshow at night at the falls and if it IS snowing then its beautiful...id spend 3days in Niagara region you can cross the border into buffalo as well...(PS you do have the travellers visa now needed right i think its about 20.00?)-- Niagara won't be frozen the falls will still be falling!

    As someone who was born and raised in Toronto again CANADA DOESN"T SHUT IN THE SNOW LOL... So here are some great things to do.
    * CN Tower
    * Catch a Hockey Game
    * Hockey Hall of Fame
    * Check out the rogers centre (aka the Skydome)
    * Go to the Eaton centre LARGE above and underground mall in the middle of toronto
    * Science Centre

    Pending on what you like to do I could tailor something for you-- Winterlicious is also on that time of year.. its AWESOME!-- especially if your a food lover!

    You could hire a car drive to Ottawa, If you ice skate skate on the St. Lawerence (pending if its frozen ..) but ottawa is nations capital lots to do there.. and then drive to montreal.. Ive made the Toronto- Montreal trip many times its a lot of fun!!

    Also Old Quebec City and Montreal are beautiful plenty to do there as well!!

    I could go on but im probably boring you... As for NYC its awesome youll need a few days there frankly 2 weeks will go by VERY quickly

    Jen - I dropped you a PM about this. I would be grateful if you could reply at your earliest convenience.
  • We went to Canada on honeymoon in 07 in September - early september.

    We stayed at Fairmont Hot Springs near Cranbrook BC. Most of the touristy things were closing the day we arrived but we still had a fantastic time!

    Lake Louise is a must must must place to visit. It was snowing in Banff the day we visited so we chose to stay over and got some great pictures.
    It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice
