I have an IVA and this has been running for nearly 4 years, I want to check my credit history but don't have a credit or debit card. I also want to open a new bank account with a debit card. How can I check that my credit history reflects the iva and that its being paid?

Check your credit files on the link above for £2 each (there are 3 companies). You need to check that the accounts that are shown as 'defaulted' are listed for the same date as your IVA started. If there are any listed later then you need to write to the credit agency and tell them to adjust it for you.
You should also check for any other irregularities like 'Gone away' messages against an account.Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345
Debt free 21st Oct 2011.
