How Much To Repair Aerial?

Hello,
I have been having trouble with my television reception recently. It started after a thunderstorm, so I was told that the aerial might have moved a bit. As I live in a rented flat, I considered getting a signal booster to improve reception but after looking at the prices and all the cables and connectors I would need to buy, I think I might as well get someone out to fix the aerial! Can anyone tell me what kind of charge would be reasonable in the Guildford area?

  • We had a new one fitted last year and it was £45.00. That is in Lancashire.

You may be looking alots more if your flat is high as the price above was in a terraced house.

I live in the ground floor of a 2 storey block. I don't think it would cost more than a house - at least I hope not!

unfortunately my insurance has a £100 excess and I'm hoping it won't cost as much as that! I can't think of anyone who has had an aerial fitted recently so I'll have to phone round a few companies in the morning.

We bought one recently from Wickes for £9.99. We were having our chimney repaired at the time so OH went up there and fitted it himself. I know this isn't the answer for you. My frien d had hers done 6 months ago and it cost £100. We live in Cheshire.
