Is Dulux Light and Space Absolute White too dazzling?

Hi - about to paint my loft...
I would like it to be a true white. I've already been through millions of testers when choosing my hall & stairs paints recently so I'd like some advice so I don't have to buy so many this time!
I do quite like Dulux White Chiffon but I wondered if the L&S Absolute White could be better. I am concerned though that it could be so reflective that it would be annoying in a bedroom??

We have Dulux White Chiffon in our living room and it's not a true white - it's more of a creamy white.0

Thanks, I think you may be right. Can anyone suggest a true white, preferably from Dulux as my decorator likes to get Dulux Trade paint..0

A professional decorator prefers Dulux........wow.
he must be the only one.
Dulux is very nice white but it doesnt stay white for very long.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

What would be your recommendation McKneff - if not Dulux?0

Johnsons, My OH was a decorator for 40 odd years, he alwasy says that Dulux White ended up creamy in a very short time so stopped using it early on in his career.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I agree that Dulux white is not great.
Swear by B&Q undercoat and satin for woodwork though - does not yellow at all.
Also used Crown white from B&Q for some rooms and ceilings - again doesn't yellow.
It is also really good for mist coats if you have to do such things.
B&Q are currently doing 10 Litres for a tenner. Would also recommend Wilkinsons white matt. Think its £4 for 5 litres.0
