Shower off switch

I have a shower attachment to the bath taps, not a power shower.

Is there a device you can buy to attach maybe to the shower head, whereby after showering off you can temporily switch off the water whilst you apply soap etc. and not waste water then quickly switch it back on to shower the soap off.

I know you can turn off the taps but by the time you have turned them off then on again and had to re-adjust the temperature you have wasted as much water as if you had just let it run.

You could fit an in line valve where the shower hose leave the taps, however this would have the same effect as switching thetaps as you'd need to allow water to run through again to optimise the temperature and defeat the object of the exercise.
