My phone isn't the one I bought

ok, not physically. I purchased a HTC Desire from Vodafone back in May under the premise it would not be branded in any way (so says Vodafone). A week ago there was an over the air update that installed branding (Vodafone logo on startup, Vodafone applications that cannot be uninstalled) and I've been told I cannot have a branding-free version. This is no longer the phone I purchased but I'm 3 months into the contract so is there anything I can do?

VF are under massive pressure on this and i think they will reverse the update but the phone is unbranded in the sense that it hasnt got vf slapped on it. However the firmware is carrier specific hence why our 2.2 update is taking longer.
All you can hope for is for them to make them deletable in the near future.Back by no demand whatsoever.0
