we are going to next week london in holidays..i really excited to go for it.

If you get a chance take a trip to Camden Market on Saturday (making sure you wallet is tucked away :-)) Its a great place and is a macrocosm of Londons alternative scene. Punks, Goths and middle aged men and women who are living in a time warp.\

Another good trip out which I would recommend is highgate cemetery.

7 pounds for an hours tour around it, taking place ever hour on weekends, but restricted to 20 people per tour, it is quite fascinating if you are into that sort of thing. Across the road is a smaller cemetery where Karl Marx is buried, but that's not really worth the outlay
  • Thank you everyone!! Think we will go to the tower on Saturday morning using our 2 for 1 vouchers and not bother with Lords because by the time we get there and back it is another day gone and we only actually have 2 full days so want to get some sightseeing in!
    Thanks all xx

Right. If you are not going to Lord's then you might be interested in the Tower Bridge Exhibition just down (up?) the road from the TOL and also on 2 for 1 deal. It's not as exciting as the Eye but it's quite interesting, cheap, and only takes about 1/2 hour.

So if I bought a ticket from say Euston to another train station in London I could use these 2 for 1 offers? We're driving down and catching the tube in, so wouldn't be buying one, but there's so many offers I'm thinking of doing it.

    Would that work?

To get the 2for 1s each person needs a paper ticket with the BR crows foot logo on it (but don't seem to count children in that I have found). So options if not coming into London by train is to purchase a TC from a train station (which Euston is as well as a tube, just make sure you go to the train ticket office upstairs) or to purchase a one stop train ticket and not use use for the savings.
