Keyboard help needed

my son was hitting the keyboard on my laptop and now the letters that have numbers on them will only come up the numbers, i cant work out how to turn it off.

Lucky for me I bought a keyboard yesterday in tescos, lol

First don't let your son hit the keyboard! It sounds like you have enabled the numeric key pad probably by pressing a function key. This will be model specific so read your user guide.

Thanks I looked it up on web and it was Fn button and num lock

I never let him do it, I was doing my work when He came in my room and pressed them and pulled out the ethernet while I was in the toilet, hubby was watching him, not very well, lol.
