  • Hi,

    With Northern Rock you can only take a payment holiday after 9 consecutive payments and you can only take 3 in a 12 month period (on the basis you have made over 21 consecutive payments). You can also take them by overpayment rather then by right.

    There are allowances for career breaks and maternity leave as well where you can take up to a 6 month payment holiday.

    Northern Rock will NOT recalculate your mortgage payments for a payment holiday unless you request to do so. Are you on interest only or repayment?
