Have I recently crippled my credit score?

  • If its listed as settled then leave them as they are. If you have any cards or debts listed as not settled and you have got rid of the card or paid off the debt then you can write to Experian and they will get them all marked as settled for you.

You need to put the 'number' of the debt in your letter e.g C" with Capital One.

They'll only do it if you've closed your account with that bank etc.

If you haven't closed your account but you want to, then you'll have to write to each individual card provider. Your credit report should have their addresses on the last page.

Is there anything else on it like missed payments or CCJs?
