Hello,
My address bar has gone, I have the tabs
File, Edit, View, Favourites, Tools, Help
and then underneath that the back and forwards buttons, favourites, mail etc
at the far end it has address written in grey- I have right clicked on it and tried different things but my address bar does not come up.
I also looked in View tab but could'nt get it back
It is driving me mad as I want to type in some web site addresses and I can't.
Please can someone tell me how to fix this?
Thank You

Thanks for your reply,
Yes it is ticked, it has always been ticked which is what is so confusing, I also just restarted my computer to see if that would help ...but it is still gone!0 -
Try mousing your cursor at the bottom of the area where the address bar should be and see if you have the option to stretch the control area - if your mouse shows this, drag the bar down.
Failing this, check that you have the latest version of IE, and update as necessary. You may then find, if you update, that the address bar is revealed.0 -
Thanks so much!
