Timber Advice

I've got to replace a piece of rotten timber above a window outside.
Old house with rectangular metal windows, but the brick detailing above the windows is a shallow arch going up to 6" high.
The arched gap above the window is filled by an 18mm deep wood panel fascia with timber splash proof mouldings glued to it (like the B+Q stuff for putting around laminate floor edges, but curved to fit the shape of the arch..!).
It looks a nice detail from afar...but i've now got to replicate it.
What kind of wood should i be looking for?
Any idea where i can get the curved mouldings from?
TIA.

Not sure what you want as I cannot picture it? If you want to bend timber buy the molded timber thatlooks right then saw the back edge with lots of cross cut saw marks being careful not to come through the front face of the timber. This is called kirf marks. you will find the timber gives and can be bent. to help soak in warm water before you bend it. ( Thats the timber not you)The measure of love is love without measure0
