I'd recommend joining the K9KidneyDiet Yahoo group and learning as much about canine kidney disease as possible. To just say that putting your dog on JWB is a bit too simplistic IMHO.
Thanks for the suggestions and I'll bear them in mind if mutt does get kidney disease. At the moment though, it's just her body not working as well through age and needing more protein. I'm not changing to JWB, she's already on it, it's just a question of which higher protein one to swap to.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
