It'll probably feel a bit strange for a while - after all, it is a new thing to be on the road to financial freedom after what has probably been months, if not years, of bearing an overwhelming burden. And a burden that may have driven one to suicidal thoughts as well. It seems eerily strange; or it did to me anyway. I kept having little "wake-up!" moments and thinking that I'd forgotten something...! I almost felt like a turtle (don't worry, boys, I don't LOOK like a turtle...), who'd suddenly slipped out of its massively-heavy shell...

Probably the hardest bit for me was to properly learn that my attitude shouldn't be "Woo hoo! A lucky escape for me - I can spend, spend, spend again!!!", to recognise that I'd put myself in serious financial jeopardy and to learn my lesson and never, ever do it again. That's what I struggled with. But I'm definitely wiser now - and even grateful for the experience as, wretched though it was/is, it stopped my debts from getting EVEN worse and will help me to build a better future for myself (and Jasper) in the long-term.

Enjoy a good, relaxed night's sleep tonight, Frank1 (and HardUp!) - you deserve it!
