I noticed the Branston spaghetti in Morrisons yesterday.
The offer there for the Spaghetti is "Buy 2 tins for 50p"
It did say on the tins "NEW IMPROVED RECIPE" with "10% extra Tomatoes"
So maybe it might be worth trying them again at the right price
Just to update the "SPAGHETTI SAGA" (not that it matters to me I hate the stuff whoever makes it)
Looked at the stack in Sainsburys on the "2 for £2" display (but because of the pricing mix&match offer of beans, pickle and spaghetti you actually get 8 tins for ONLY £1.72)
The majority of them seemed to be "No added salt and controlled sugar" with another 'banner' that said something like "Good for Kids".
I presume these are the ones that perhaps are not so tasty and some people find totally YUK!
Amongst them were other 4 packs that had different labelling saying ...(as above @ Morrisons)
"NEW IMPROVED RECIPE" with "10% extra Tomatoes"
Looking at the ingredients panel confirmed there is definitely more salt and sugar in this particular Branston Spaghetti and probaly the one that people like and find rather YUMMY !
Keep your eyes peeled when grabbing your tins - it is not immediately OBVIOUS which is which.
