Have you checked the fuse?
Not sure where they are in a Corsa, check the handbook.0 -

Check all your lights as well. My dads car lost the dash along with break lights and indicators shorted tow bar hook up. As you've changed the fuse was the old one blown there pretty easy to tell?
You'll need a good old automotive electrician to have a look.
Could be corroded earth point,a short or loose connector some where.0 -

It could be a simply wire/plug that has worked it's way loose or is making poor connection.
When you swapped the engine, did you disconnect the battery from positive? or just Negative?
If the latter, it may have caused a surge to the ECU.
I would go to a garage that has a fault code reader, unless you have one, plug it in and see if the computer pulls anything out.
Does the car start/turn over?
Worse case, the ECU, but most likely you have pulled on a lead not knowingly and it has pulled the power from the dash.
Check and see if the radio works
