redoing sealant around bath

    Completely agree with mumof2.


    I removed silicone:
    filled bath with water
    applied masking
    siliconed
    smoothed with finger with washing up liquid on
    pulled off masking
    didn't use bath for approx 24 hours when i emptied bath.

    Looks great and very easy to do :)

    Yes, remember to remove the masking tape immediately - I got distracted and didn't and was left with a mess that I have had to live with for 3 years. Fortunately, I am having my bathroom completely re-done this week, so I finally forget about it.

    ohhh thanks so much everyone. I will need to attempt this in the next couple of weeks before I go for surgery which will make me unable to do it for ages.
