cheapest merchant terminal around any ideas or is there one on the iphone

I am looking round for the cheapest merchant terminal can anyone recommend one that I can take credit/debit cards and is there an app on the iphone that takes credit/debit cards that I could use to link to my paypal account.

Any ideas

I have no idea lol

I have just been reading something about an app called 'swipe' i think you copy the numbers from the card or something like that, not sure yet just asking around and checking on google.

If you are in a trade body or use a large wholesaler, they often get bulk deals from the card processors at a cheaper rate. Our rate with Streamline, (now RBS WorldPay) is cheaper than Bank of Scotland or HSBC will do it and is through my wholesaler. I could use 3 other schemes if I wanted though, including the Federation of Small Business

I have a card terminal at present from silverpay but want to get shut and get something cheaper as its a bit expensive, I think there is a way with paypal but not sure how it works.

There is an app on the iphone called 'swipe'' but apparently it doesnt work here in the uk yet

I think there was an iPhone app I remember the ads for it and looking at downloading it. you needed paypal pro and this app cost something like 50 quid. I for the life of me cant find it now, wonder if they took it off??
