So it's okay for them to eat other meat, but not dogs?

    What about pigs? They're intelligent.

If they want to eat dogs that's up to them. We shouldn't preach to other countries about what we find acceptible.

Pigs aren't just intelligent, they're more intelligent than dogs.

Why should dog be any different than any other animal? Either turn vegan or don't complain. Welfare issues of farmed animals can be an issue I'll agree, but that act of ingesting dog meat really doesn't hold any more of a taboo for me than any other (I own a dog btw, he's not going in the pot, but if I go to Korea, I'm trying dog meat).
  • I dont have an issue with eating of any animal, so long as the animal has been humanely reared and slaughtered, after all, no one preaches to us about eating Pigs/Rabbit/Ostrich/Roo etc

Its the barbaric way they kill them , is there really any need? Did anyone ever watch that program about them killing the foxes for their fur? Swinging them by their hind legs and bashing them on the floor, then skinning them alive, thats a sight i will never forget. I hate the thought of any animal suffering. Sadly im not a multi -millionaire. So if i can do my bit by signing a petition that stops just one animal suffering then count me in.

Go to china they eat everything on an animal. Seen them kill terapins over there not nice.

Its an animal and its food. just because you think of it as a domesticated only animal does not mean it is not ok to eat.

I ate lovely albino rabbits in bulgaria...exact same breed as you get in pet shops here..(neck was rung)..yum yum
i killed chickens as a kid for consumption the same way.
I would eat and try many thing but don't fancy trying dog.....
