Hi - this may sound a really daft question but how do I find out how many GB the harddisk is on my SKY + HD box please? I no longer have the box and its now all unplugged etc... The model no is DRX780UK if thats any help and is just over a year old.

Thank you - I tried to Google it but got rather lost in the responses!I am going to try and sell it as we now in true MSE style have a freeview HD box. I just can't believe how much Sky now charge just for a basic package!

I still have the equipment - I have now cancelled the subscription so it seems the actual HD boxes sell ok on Ebay! So hence I am going to try and recoup some of the money its cost over the past year!
At least Sky installed the dish that we now use with our freeview box - so all good!:cool:0 -

I understand now about not having the box, apologies.
Not sure how you use a dish with freeview, since they are incompatible.

The only good thing about pedants is they all eventually die but not without making a fool of themselves many times along the way.
I'm quite sure the OP knows what they need seeing as they already use it and the rest of us have the intelligence to work it out...0 -

Why did you buy freeview - you could have just used the Sky box for freesat?0
