Thanks for the advice, I have taken loads of advice and encouragement from the help people have offered on the boards. Just going to struggle to get it all put into action I suppose!
I am feeling really determined though to get better managing our money, trouble is getting OH to agree! ( I don't drink and only go out every 6 months or so!...He however drinks at home and goes out weekends- because he says he's worked hard and is entitled to it!) Feel like banging my (or his lol) head against a wall some days trying to get through to him!!

Maybe if you worked out how much interest he's paying on the debts and told him how much the night out is really costing him? If he spends £20 on a night out, that could be £20 off a debt. Work out how much sooner you'll be debt free if you do that, how much interest you'd save, and add that to the cost of a pint. Maybe he'll see it clearer then?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
