PPI cliams help

Hi i am new to this so would be greatful if someone could help with advice.

I have a loan with my bank and i have been paying PPI on it. I would like to make a cliam but i wanted to know if you can still do so if you have not yet finished paying off the loan and also does it affect the claim if you have missed payments??

Many thanks

    Hi and welcome

Yes you can - it makes no difference it loan still active or settled.;)

Just complete the FOS questionnaire, these are used on this site and in replacement of the first template letter, and recently issued by the financial ombudsman service (FOS).

You will find the FOS questionnaire - link below - further down the page as stage one.

Complete and send to the banks complaints section or the head office, check if address on the thread here:

Keep a copy as well as recommended by the financial ombudsman service (FOS), in case you need to complain to them later on.

They have 8 weeks in full to respond, I would also make sure you get proof for posting at the post office as well.

Good luck with this and if you require further help, then ask away.;)

Sorry forgot to mention in my above post.

If there are any arrears, then they may refund the amount to the account, and anything remaining and any interest should be refunded directly to you.

    However, all banks can differ.;)
