Thanks so much , the lettuce looks fab! Already have raspberrys settled in a sunny spot and fussy OH doesnt like redcurrants,garlic or rhubarb grrrr!
Think I will put peas in the sunny bit up the fence and then lettuce, onions and carrots in front in the shady bit. Thanks everyone!0 -
thinking ahead ; Rhubarb - doesnt mind the shade!
Kale - plant now!
Chard / winter lettuce.
Next Year; Start a Pumpkin in partial shade and train in toward the sunnier area - they take a lot of space.
