Options and SAYE to ISA

I understand that you can transfer shares from an approved company option scheme, or a save as you earn scheme, directly to a S&S ISA. The restrictions seem to be the value of the shares must be less than the annual ISA limit of £10.2k (on day they hit the ISA?) and they must be transferred within 90 days of being exercised.
Has anyone does this? Is it really that easy?
I'm considering opening an ISA account with Hargreaves Lansdown. Will they accept such transfers? I can't see anything in their Ts&Cs or FAQs but I have seen similar for other ISAs.
Note I can't sell the share and rebuy in the ISA as I'll also be selling some like this to use my CGT allowance, and my wife's.

I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.

OK, I called HL and they say that yes, it's dead easy, but confirmed their web site doesn't mention it.
So, anyone who's done well with company options or SAYE can get £10.2k out via CGT allowance and another £10.2k via a transfer to an ISA. And, of course, spouse can do the same.
It's a shame this isn't more widely publicised.

Hmmm, can spouse do the same with the SAYE to ISA? All the wording I've seen passively allows for it, however ...
