Laminated flooring and bathroom tiling

I got a quote to replace the carpets in 2 double bedrms and 1 single bedrm with laminated flooring, underlay and beading for £600 (materials not included).
I'm also having my bathroom wall tiled up to the ceiling, just the area above the tub (currently it's tiled up mid-way) and I was quoted £350 (this is including the materials).
This is the first time I'm undertaking such project and I'd like to know whether these quotes are fair?
Thanks.
