Thanks Crunchy Nut Kat
That is a huge memory card. They don't give out too much information on the website. Can you let us know what it is like when you get it? ie is it really 1019 blocks and is it reliable (I have heard some of the larger memory cards are not that reliable)?
They also have US games on the site. Does anyone know if these will play on a UK gamecube? I do not want to chip our gamecube or otherwise invalidate its warranty or do anything illegal or dodgy?!0 -
Ok cmorgan will let you know when it arrives if its any good...Hope so.

You can use US games, if you buy an action replay for your gamecube. You can buy one off play.com for 13 quid, really worth taking advantage of. Especially if you order the games from America itself, what with the exchange rate being so good at the moment.Snootchie Bootchies!0

Hi, i love all this cheap GC stuff. About the playing the import games, get an Action replay, but not from play.com. Go to game and they have it for £9.98 and i was suprised when they gave me an extra 20% on all sale items so got it for £7.98 = Bargain!!!
Get Resident Evil 4 as its quite possible THE best game you will play for a long time. I hate the kiddy image of the GC, this game proves im right.
Oh and mx2.co.uk are pretty good ordered a few SMC mem cards from them, Large 3rd party GC mem cards can be a bit dodgy tho. Try to stick with nintendo.
NicoIve completed the internet, the last boss was really hard!!0 -
Yeah I agree with chrisnic0, third party cards (like this logic 3 1019 block) are unreliable. I recommend always going for official memory cards, for any console. Third party cards use cheaper components and are more likely to lose game saves.0

i tried to order this from them about 4 months ago and they emailed me with the news that they were out of stock and didnt know when it would be back? but in the end i got a 128mb (twice as big) card from GAME instore for £17 which is quite good value0

Does anyone know of any good gamecube imports from the US with low shipping rates?

Yea i've had a bit of trouble with MX2 in the past with orders being cancelled due to being out of stock.
If you are after a good memory card for the gamecube http://www.gameplay.com have a good 1019 block card, at £12.99 with free delivery. I had to invest in one in November when we bought "The Urbz" as it requires a LOT of space to save games on. We've had no problems at all with this memory card, and the free delivery is really quick, and unlike MX2 they are UK based so quick delivery .
The direct link to the memory card is http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?productcode=GC0610&title=logic_3_gamecube_64mb_memory_card_-_purpleYou Can, If You Think You Can!0 -

Action Replay appears to be £19.99 on game.com at the moment. How does this compare to Freeloader which appears to be a bit cheaper?0 -

The Action Replay is a cheats card which has Freeloader built it as well. I have one, hardly every use it but has been a great when wanting to unlock things like the mini games without completeing the game.
The other week, I was going to import Resident Evil 4 but then the DS offer came up, so I think I will wait for the PAL release now.
EDIT: Just looked on Play, and they have the Action Replay for £14.990
