What are my rights?
Signed up at Christmas last year, got half price everything for a year.
I recently moved to a new property and the only LLU presence in the town is Sky so I went with them, before I signed up I asked about the terms as said I tried signing up online and it showed future monthly payments being the full amount if I signed up for broadband and the guy on the phone just said it was a glitch and I wouldnt lose my discount.
Just got my first bill and its over£46 a month more than I am paying! I have no idea why as the broadband is £12.50 a month and no connection charge, I can only assume they have charged me full price for my tv, full price for Sky HD etc but if thats the case where has the extra £10 a month come from as that would make my bills about £61 a month not £71
Any advice or ideas?

You pay for your services up front. So if your bill is produced at the end of the month and you got broadband in say around the 10th, at the end of the month you would be billed for internet from 10th till end of the month AND also for the full month after.
Isnt your bill itemised? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Yes I knew all that, but thanks for confirming, its weird as I never get paper bills very often(once every few months at random I think) I have never recieved a Sky magazine also (do they still make them?) I was paying like £24.50 I think and last payment came out about 2 weeks ago.
It says next bill on the 14th of this month will be £45.22 and then next one and following monthly payments are £73.50(I got amounts wrong in OP) big shoot up! I would never pay that much just for tv and broadband.0 -

Are you perhaps now paying your line rental through sky also as opposed to bt? Have they upgraded your packages?
If you sign up for e-billing you should be able to view a full bill and see exactly what charges have been applied for what (itemised billing).
Alternatively, call them and ask for a breakdown.
I'm afraid we cant really advise much further without knowing where the costs have came from as it would be pure speculation. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Your bill over on sky.com will be fully itemised, it'll tell you exactly what charges you're paying for Sky TV, broadband, phone etc and should show any discounts.0
