Is it possible in microsoft office to put contacts into different groups,

    do you mean microsoft outlook??

    can you be a bit more specific and i am an active outlook user

    yes i meant ms outlook, i use it at college and can you put certain contacts into different groups so you send 1 email to all or is it a case of just adding their names when you start a new message

    if you have a number of people in you contact list you can then make a distribution list,

    for example

    put all your business contacts in a distribution list say called business
    then when you create your email the only name you would have to add would be business and outlook does the rest

    You could set up a distribution list which contains all of the people you want to send certain messages to. Then you only have to click on that distribution list in the 'To' field.

    yeh if in outlook go to contacts then new click on distribution list and you name and add members to it from there
