Ive only started posting again after a while away but I have been viewing threads when I could get a chance but when you really start reading certain threads its now getting to the point its not moneysaving anymore it is How to Con Companies.

What is even more cringe worthy is some people condone this by telling them to persue issues that are actually the customers fault or have no right to certain payments. ( Benefits and so on.).

We all like to save money but theres a difference between savings and fraud. The best bit however is when someone tells them how it is and puts them in there place. Most of the time it is only first time posters that try to screw the systems but can't paint everyone with the same brush.

Whilst I do not wish to express any opinion on your description "conning companies", I would take issue with your thread title that it is MSE encouraging this. If you are finding such posts, it is the MSE forum member(s) saying such things, not MSE themselves.

Yes, I notice this a lot, and find it pretty sickening.

Everything has a knock on effect, and it spoils it for the rest of us.

I agree with Tigsteroonie as well though, it's not MSE staff members who do this.

Compensation culture seems to have replaced common sense these days.

i dont think martin lewis or any staff at mse are responsible for or condoning this, if you have issues with certain posts maybe made by regular posters then you need to report said post by clicking the little red triangle at the bottom right hand side

MSE Have no responsibility of this thread it was my opinion of a header as these views are being posted on this site. I am sorry if it has came across as MSE Condoning this. They are not

Funny you should mention that, i just uhm.......had a go (for lack of a better term) at someone for doing exactly that on the consumer rights board and said imo they're no better than con men (those who seek compensation when they deserve none - not MSE of course).
