advice please- new kitchen snag list

i got a good price on an eco kitchen from a company that does all the work and ordering. after a long saga it is finally being put in 6 weeks late. but not everything is as it should be on the plans and as discussed. My question is which things to be firm about and which to forgive:

*the counter is about 10" shorter than described
*the extractor fan was supposed to be a stainless steel one and instead is one that matches the cupboard doors
*the sink is not centered above the window unit...
*drawers are being put under the above instead of near the oven as in the plans (should have been a built in bin)
*one corner unit has turned into a small unit +wine rack (this one i might understand because the washing machine pipes are in the corner...

any opinions on how understanding i should be before i hand over the money?

as someone who fits kitchens this is not acceptable, plans are done for a reason and are then agreed to. Fight for what you paid for and i assume wanted, it's their mistake and loss not yours.

thanks so much for the encouragement.

the price was good so i was trying to be accommodating but now they've messed up the hot water and are claiming the boiler must just have broken (it's nearly new) so i'm less inclined to be forgiving.

it's the weekend so no hot water and a big list of 'to dos' for next week. the good news is i have only paid a deposit and still hold 3/4 of the money.

I suppose there are two ways you could deal with this, one is to deduct the cost of say, the cheaper cooker hood they have installed, deduct the short worktop length, there could be a reason why the sink is not centered up but they should have explained it to you or adjusted the plans before work commenced. You could seek over all compensation if you decide deductable compensation get prices of the items that should have been installed eg that cooker extractor and whats in its place, the cost of putting a new worktop on, the cost of re locaiting the draw pack. corner unit reduction in price due to its smaller size, The boiler I am not sure how you could claim because they were only working on the hot and cold water pipes do the other hot and cold taps work in the house? you may need to get a plumbers advice but I personally have never heard of boiler problems arising from fitting a kitchen unless of course they were re siting the boiler.
