royal doulton plates curnock rose d5811

hi!

my grandmother has me asked if i can find out how much these plates would be worth.

they are royal doulton curnock rose dinner plates - there are 6 in total

all used but in pristine condition

i have searched on the net but can only really find american sellers, and the dinner plates can be sold for $45 dollars each

any advice or info would be appreciated!

Forget the replacement services they are well OTT. My son bought the much older and rarer Alma pattern dinner service recently from auction for £5, he has serving plates, soup bowls the lot, one replacement service was asking £45 a plate.

Actually though, a quick look through some sites on my saved sites suggest that Curnock Rose is a more popular pattern and could go for around £5 a plate at a bricks and mortar auction. It might be worth asking a local house whether they are intereste din taking it on for sale, and remember to check their seller fees as they are likely to be in the region of 25%
