Selling to Japan?

I've just had a request to post an ebay item to Japan. As it's on the list of exclusions, do I just reply that I'm sorry I'm not permitted to?

I'm not sure what you mean by on the list of exclsuions. If you prefer not to sell to Japan then just tell them you are unable to for this item, or ignore them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've sent a couple of things there with no problem at all, their Postal service seems pretty efficient.Instant Credit means Instant Debit!

At the bottom of my listing there's a list of excluded countries, which I had not properly read until now, and it includes some obvious places, but also Japan. I think she's likely to be trouble, as she's interested in 2 similar items finishing a week apart (one of them tomorrow).
Soolin - am I being really dim about the list of exclusions? I would post it on here, but it's huge. It appears directly under Dispatches to Worldwide.0 -
Those are exclusions you have set. If you want to sell to them you can allow them to bid.At the bottom of my listing there's a list of excluded countries, which I had not properly read until now, and it includes some obvious places, but also Japan. THank you - I wasn't aware that I'd set any exclusions. I think I'm being tired/dim and in need of a cup of tea. And my thanks button is in hiding again. Where does it go?0

Re your exclusions, you can remove them in the SITE PREFERENCES section, or you can go to SP and exempt the buyer just for this one occasion. Japan is one of the better places to send to imho.0

Thank you. And the Thanks button is back again.0 -
This is my first attempt at selling worldwide, and I would appreciate your advice about countries to exclude. I have been selling just to UK and Europe (blocking Italy).0

Some also block Malta, but personally I will only ship via airmail those items worth up to £41 (which is double as I am a buisness, so value is £82ish). Anything else goes via courier.0
