Do I need contents insurance?

Hey all,
I've recently graduated and moved out of the family home to rent a flat near work. I was wondering whether I needed to do contents insurance, or do most landlords include this in their insurance plan? I don't have much expensive stuff - laptop, tv, printer, mobile phone, and few bits of furniture.
I've never dealt with this sort of insurance before and was hoping for some advice as to whether I should do anything or not!
Thanks :T

Normally a LL will insure the Building, but you will still need to insure your Contents.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

The LL's insurance won't cover any of your belongings.
Can you afford to replace all of your belongings? If yes, you might not need insurance. If no - insurance would be a good plan!0
