What do you do with the conkers, hit the spiders over the head ?Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

No, you get them to dangle a conker on a bit of string, then whack it.0

that looks like a great site.
thanks.
im so hot and sweaty in this room. its frustrating.
ill post a pic of the window. i cant think of an easy solution.
the way the window opens is tricky for a fly screen, ive struggled to use a thin sheet so... just been to tesco, all they have is littel flower pic stickers to stick on window that will trap the fly.
im thinking of moving all my stuff, sofa, tables, computers into the bedroom, its much cooler in there.
the living room has kitchen buillt in , so when oven is on, its even hotter, and the lights on ceiling give off a lot of heat too, and my pc lets off heat too. its uncomfortable. Im terrified of wasps and spiders if i open the window.
thanks for help to all.0 -
I'd say the problem is more being terrified of spiders, flies and wasps, more than needing something for the windows.0

so i can buy flyscreens, thats easily done.
But the way it is stuck onto the window sides is the concern.
ive looked and there is only a fine gap where the flyscreen needs to be stuck down into.
the window opens inward. so the flyscreen will HAVE to be exposed to the outdoors all the time, im not convinced it will stay in windy conditions and with window opening closing against it...
ive ordered one flyscreen. ill see how it goes.
is there any other sticky product(s) i can buy? in case the self adhesive that comes with flyscreen is not strong enough?
blue tac? i cant use glue.0 -

There was a Mail Order offer advertised in the Daily Mail on Tues Aug 10th. "USA Style Fine Mesh Insect Screens" It might be just what the OP is looking for. The address was http://www.hss.uk.net/advert. Worth a look I would have thought.
Phone 0871 704 7776I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
