Hi all,
Has anyone heard of or got one of these BA credit cards? You get a BA mile for every £1 spent, and if you spend £20,000 on it within a year, you get a companion to travel free. Seems too good to be true!

However, see point 5 in the terms...
"Subject to availability, taxes, fees and charges remain payable. Terms and conditions apply. One additional ticket per year. Once Members reach the applicable billed expenditure target they will receive a companion voucher which is valid for 12 months from issue."
I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this card? I'm thinking of getting one (with wife as second card holder) and paying for everything in day-to-day life with the credit card and paying off the balance at the end of each month. I might have to go through our online bank statements and see how much we used our debit cards in the last 12 months.
How far can you get with 20,000 miles anyway?

Not this one but I had a Delta card from MBNA and used it thinking I would get free flights or upgrades BUT they put some many restrictions in place it was not worthwhile. I have not got it anymore.0

Had one of these for years when I used to travel all over the world. I found it only really useful when flying BA as you got lots more airmiles. Used the airmiles regularly (in conjunction with frequent flyer card) to travel to the US.

Yes just got one. Am about to put £8k worth of holidays on it including buying a BA tcket with it aswell. Miles are more useful when you upgrade rather than buying a ticket.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0
