Anybody know of any that are 500 x 500?

Thats the size the chippy has made it, thought it was a standard size but can't seem to find anything readymade.

(needs to be this size, as ceilings are now fitted.)

Cheers, i know i can make my own but wondered if there was any out there off the shelf for this size.

Also the plaster has been cut out where the hatch opening is and its 500 x 500. Do i have to fit plasterboard on the insides as well. As that will make it smaller???

You are going about this the wrong way round. If you want to use a manufactured access panel then you should have bought the panel first and then had the opening cut to fit the panel that you bought. Even if you found a panel of the size that you want, there would be a good chance of it not fitting your opening. If the bought access panel opening was 500 x 500mm, the ceiling opening would probably have to be larger than that in order to accommodate the frame. It would be a lot less trouble to make up your own hatch.

had a better look today and will have to make something. Just don't think i will make it as nice as a pre-made one.
