I had a recent problem with my dongle crashing my computer, I had to completely wipe my computer and have windows xp reloaded. It now works fine on the internet except in hotmail.
I am getting this message when I try to open my emails on. "Done but with errors on page" with that yellow triangle thingy (sorry don't know what to call it)
Is there anything I can do as its driving me crazy it takes me all day trying on and off to access emails.
I guess I could change my email from hot mail if nothing can be done, if I do which is the best one?
Thanks for any advice

Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

My OH having a similar problem since Weds. We share a dongle and my laptop hotmail inbox etc are all ok. His wont show the emails, just a blank page that says 'done' at the bottom. This is in IE. he has deleted cookies, checked for updates etc. I suggested he tried Firefox but although he can now see the email headers he cannot open them, or do anything else with the page.
He can access them on my laptop though.
Anyone any suggestions???0 -
I am glad to know it is not just me
my friend said they have just upgraded so that could be the problem.
I have changed my settingings so that all my email is being forwarded to my yahoo account. I don't really like yahoo but at least I can now open emails.
I tried firefox but it was the same, the problem really is with hotmailLife is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -

Its not your fault, its Hotmail.
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/08/10/hotmail_complaints_chrome_fix/Microsoft, via the Hotmail forum, has been advising its customers to stop using Safari 3 and Firefox 2 in order to access its free webmail service.
The new Hotmail supports – unsurprisingly – various flavours of its own Internet Explorer browser, Firefox 3, Safari 4 and the stable version of Chrome on Windows.
er, its out of date browsers
Safari4 on Windows was released Nov 2009
Firefox3 was released June 2008
IE8 March 2009
ive had the 'new' hotmail since the start of the rollout, & had no problems.0 -
OH hotmail stopped working after the update on IE. He then switched to Firefox where he could access inbox, but not the emails. Still at a loss as to how to get his laptop working with hotmail.
Any suggestions?0
