service station ticket

I was sent a ticket claiming that I had parked at a service station over two hours and was asked to pay £90. I arrived at the station to meet my manager, who was running late, so after ten minutes I left and went to a local Tesco store to get lunch. I returned to the service station over an hour later and then had my meeting which lasted for an hour and then left. I received a ticket which I ignored, then a second came and I used the letter template to dispute the ticket explaining that I was not parked for over two hours and that I had left and returned later. I recieved a reply saying that I was parked and need to pay , with an offer to reduce the fine. What do I do now? I am not going to pay the fine, but do not know if I should ignore the letter or reply to it. can anyone help.

For a start it's not a "fine". it's an unenforceable invoice. Just ignore it and don't contact the company again. It's as simple as that.
As a matter of record, what parking company is this? We like to name and shame on here. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

As others have said, you can completely ignore all their letters.
They'll send debt collector threatograms like these shown on this thread:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803
If you want to help others, once your scam ticket threatograms have all fizzled out, please could you possibly take a few minutes to take a close up digital pic of each letter (mines your details and with any refs, barcodes and dates blanked out)? Please post the links on that thread.
We haven't got the CP Plus letter-series shown on that thread yet (only because no-one's got around to scanning in the threatograms, maybe they binned them). Nowt to worry about though, I think they use the debt collectors the other PPCs use so you can see what letters to expect next by looking at the right debt collector links.
Have you seen the Watchdog programme about PPC scam tickets, it's very funny:

Have fun with those paper aeroplanes!:)PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thanks I will ignore them all. I have kept the letters so I will scan them all in and let you see what came in the post.
Yes I have see the watchdog programe and I used their example in my response letter telling them that it is common knowledge that the cameras often do not record a car leaving and returning to the car park and said that this was pointed out on the BBC watchdog programe and that I will not pay!0 -

Please, please, please stop calling it a "fine". To give it that name gives it a legitimately it does not deserve. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
