daughter has activated phone lock on samsung gte2120

As title says daughter accidentally activated her phone lock on Samsung GTE 2120 and needs a password to get onto her mobile. This hasnt been activated before so unsure how I get past this - never have had a password etc.

Have you tried 12345? For the Phone Lock function to work, you have to enter your own password. Has she forgotten what she entered?

Tried 12345 - she doesnt think she entered a password but of course could have hit something by mistake.

Call her service provider and they should be able to give her a key. Some providers let you get one online (Virgin does).

Have rang o2 and they told me to contact samsung but cant get a reply so have now emailed them

default passwords are normally in the user manual ( may be on a cd in the box)

There is no default password as such. You have to enter a password in order to activate the phone lock in the first place.

You can try entering; *2767*3855# + input code #7465625*638*00000000# But you might lose all current info on the phone.

It's a dual band phone which should be good for most euro countries!
