Changing email addy for receiving payment

Hey!

Quick question, the solution is most probably very obvious.

I'm new to selling and in the process of listing a few items. However, I sold an item for a friend and when we were specifiying which Paypal account to use I input their address for receiving payment.

Now, this address is stuck in the Paypal box and it will not let me delete it. I've tried the Ebay search plus my account details however I'm yet to find the answer.

Can anyone help?

Do you mean you put his email address into the eBay listing as the one for Paypal and now the item has sold you cant change the email address? If so I dont think you will be able to now. If your friend doesnt have a paypal account you could add his email address to your paypal account so the money can be received and then remove it afterwards.

basically, i listed an item for a friend. when i listed it, it prompted payment methods etc... i placed their paypal email addy in the listing so that once the auction ends the winning bidder pays them the money.

now, i'm trying to sell another item and it won't allow me to edit their address and replace it with my paypal account. so when my item does sell, they winning bidder will receive my friends paypal account details.

i've tried to change it using my ebay preferences but i cannot seem to find the option.
