Discount cars online - any experience or thoughts ?

I'm potentially looking at a new car and in some instances, the online prices from brokers such as Broadspeed or Deal Drivers etc. seem better than I can get through the dealers themselves.
However, these brokers seem to say that you indeed receive your new car from a dealer and that you pay them, not the broker.
Has anyone any experience of this or do you have any comments, good or bad ?

Just bought a new car via Dealdrivers. It worked like this:-
1. We test drove a few cars
2. Emailed Dealdrivers asking for PCP figures
3. Dealdrivers came back with a price per month and a breakdown of the deal
4. I replied to that email saying all was good and we'd like to buy the car
5. Hour later, phone rings from dealer
6. He goes through the figures, and takes my details
7. Next day, dealer phones back to say all is good and finance is approved, they take deposit over the phone.
8. As we've taken finance we have to collect the car from the dealership in the Midlands, I think if you don't take finance then the car is delivered.
Car is from a main dealer in the midlands, no cash has been handed over to dealdrivers I guess they invoice the dealer direct. The finance offered is anything that is on offer in the dealership at the time, we liked the new Ka but a good offer expired on the Friday and we couldn't get to the dealership in time.
The only downside for me was not knowing where the dealership was, we've got a three hour journey by train to collect the new car but the dealer has kindly offered to collect us from the station.0
