Reduced contract cancellation fees for landline users.

Just thought i'd post this up in case anybody out there is stuck in a long term/rolling contract with Bloody Telephone companies and are worried about the high, monthly calculated, cancellation fee.
basically, from October for most landline providers have been "encouraged" by ofcom to reduce their early termination charges to reflect the costs that the providers save by no longer providing the service. :j
anybody thats interested in the charge drop (fairly significant!) should check out the ofcom website and search
"Cheaper charges for UK consumers to end phone contracts"
(would post a link but i'm not old enough :rotfl:)
