Elephant Garlic (seeds or from cloves?) - where to buy?

Hi all,

Could I just buy an elephant garlic and plant the cloves from that? Or should I buy seeds?

Where would be best/cheapest to buy? Either seeds or cloves?

Thanks!

You can plant supermarket cloves, although you risk bringing in disease, that's your call.

Otherwise, 3 seconds on google produced no end of suppliers. You don't grow garlic from seeds, you grow it from the cloves of bulbs.

Wilko sold it for the last couple of years.

Yes indeed, Wilko, Garden Centres, I bet even Tesco sell it, not the sort you buy for cooking as it has been said. This will be available as three bulbs in a net bag.

They usually cost about £2.99 for the three
