Quick question on bending a gas pipe

No the pressure won't stop it bending.It's not 100bar hydraulics in it, is it?
I'd not try and bend it at all, being a copper pipe that's already been worked on during installation and then truncation at removal of appliance, the copper will be hardened now. I'd not touch it with someone else's bargepole if I didn't know what I was doing.;)
OP there should be enough space to just lift the floorboards and tuck it underneath. If there is no movement look under the floor for pipe clips and loosen them till you have moved it, then resecure it.
I would mark the floor boards with the location of the gas pipe though, for future resident's use...as this is probably why it was left with a bit sticking out in the first place, to show there is a gas supply there.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
