Just to reassure you a bit once you start on the road to BR, the time leading to it is by far the most stressful time. On the day, dont be surprised if the relief is so much you burst into tears in front of the judge-I did! It takes a LOT of getting used to, for some it changes how you feel about money and how you use it too. It does have the added benefit of not being able to obtain credit even nearly as freely!
After the interviews etc, and you start to realise no one is going to tell you off or make you feel completely idiotic for getting in a mess, it is a wonderful relief-I know I took more pleasure in simple things.
And after discharge I was jumping around the room in excitement because I can open a savings account! How sad am I??
Best of luck with whatever you decide to do, do post a thread and you will get advice ranging from how to cope with creditors in the run up to BR to how to fill in your SOA to bank accounts.
If you do decide to go BR, stop paying all unsecured creditors to save up your BR fee.
