Cheap Ryanair Hand Luggage.

In order to benefit most from the cheap Ryainair flights it is not advisable to take hold baggage (since this is chargeable), stick to the hand luggage instead. The problem is finding luggage of the right size to maximise your hand luggage allowance.

After a lot of internet trawling, I finally settled on a bag found on eBay for just £9.99 (plus £3.50 postage)...

The beauty of the bag is that it is the maximum size allowed by Ryanair (55x40x20) and weighs under 1kg. It has no wheels, which keeps the weight down, whilst giving the maximum capacity of 44 litres.

I am still awaiting delivery of the bag but the seller has a 100% rating on 146 sales, so I feel quite confident. I will let you know the quality of the bag when it arrives.

There are many other similar-sixed bags on eBay and a few other sites (up to £40 each) but the major bag manufacturers do not seem to have anything of the EXACT size that is best for Ryanair.
