baumatic engineeer request - 1week!

my baumatic washing machine has developed a fault, its only 5 months old.
phoned them today and appointment given for next thursday , which they say is the earlies one they had.
wirh 4 kids on school hols. , this is a real problem ,
any advice on way round it please, are they supposed to give such a late appointment.
when my previous wm zanussi developed fault , engineers were there next day.
anyone else had same problem with baumatic?

An appointment in a week is pretty reasonable. Even if you found a local washing machine repair to look at it the chances are the appointment would be in that sort of scale.
I guess the reason Zannussi were so quick is there are far more Zannussi's around (so more engineers) than baumatic.0 -
